I never realized how easy it would be to build a fairly comprehensive medical kit at the dollar store. There were just a few items I couldn't get there, which were easy enough to get elsewhere. Amazon carries a wide variety of medical stuffs that anyone can buy. I got a disposable surgical stapler and staple remover for a little more than $10. In total I built 3 kits, one for my car, one for my wife, and one for my wife's family over seas. We've each had to use our kits at least once, and it has been a major help. I would highly recommend everyone make one.
