I was doing a little speed shooting on my Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun today. Here's my fastest run of the afternoon, clocking in at 12.74 seconds from first hit to last hit. Not bad considering you have to turn the barrel of the gun up and wait for the BBs to settle to the bottom of the magazine before cocking. The biggest problem I had getting my time down was the cocking process. If you try to cock it too fast, the BBs don't have time to settle where the mechanism can grab one and load it into the chamber. I had several runs that were going a little faster than this one, but inevitably I'd get a failure to feed because I was cocking too fast. I had an idea for a possible tweak to my cocking technique that might speed me up a little. If I have time I'll try it tomorrow and see if I can get my total time down. -ZombieTex
