Check out the playlist here: http://bit.ly/KINCookieCollab --- RECIPE Ingredients 1½ cups flour ¼ tsp salt ½ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp cream of tartar ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), at room temperature ½ cup granulated sugar ⅓ cup brown sugar 1 egg ½ tsp vanilla extract 1 cup white chocolate chips 6-8 pepper mint candies, crushed Instructions 1) In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, cream of tartar and cocoa powder. 2) In another large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until smooth. 3) Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix well. 4) Let the dough rest for 30 to 60 minutes in the refrigerator. When ready, pre heat oven to 300 F. 5) Bake the cookies for 12 to 14 minutes and no more. The cookies may seem undercooked, but will continue to develop after they are removed from the oven. When the cookies have cooled they should be soft and chewy in the middle. 6) Melt the white chocolate in the microwave until completely melted. Once the cookies are cooled, dip half into the white chocolate, allow the rest to drip off, then sprinkle with the crushed peppermints. Allow white chocolate to cool, then enjoy!
